It's usually from Humble Bundles or Fanatical bundles, right? So for me, this game falls into that category. It was my day off work (yeah, that thing a lot of us do in 'real life') and I was browsing through my game library and just booted up this game on a whim. I had read no reviews and did not know anything about it.It's weird! But weird in a good way! It actually reminds me of the old Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone Fighting Fantasy books in a way, bizarre as that seems. You encounter multiple choice questions and your answer determines where you go next.It seems to be a fun, interesting game, suitable for short ten or twenty minute spells. I am not sure I would pay full price for it (and am pretty sure I didn't!) but if you spot it on sale or as part of a bundle, then I think you'll be happy with it.. decent roguelike, choose your own adventure aesthetic.. charming, nice and full of adventure that's all I have to say. It takes time to understand this game but it is really interesting.. Extremely fun, exactly as promised. Not the most complex game, but great story telling and choices that really matter. Plus, fun art.. I got a game from PS+ called "Stories: The Path of Destinies". This game seems a lot like that but more polished and with more unique design put into it. I wholeheartedly recommend getting this if you're looking for replayability. I had a ton of fun with Stories, but this feels like a game I will enjoy a lot more because it's more well-designed. Don't get me wrong Stories was great, I'm glad to have played it, but I'm even happier I got this on Chrono and I'm glad I did. I greatly recommend it.. The long and short of my experience is that this game has the Oblivion problem.I'm now stuck at the start of the game because I levelled up my tech tree to get more HP, but this made the enemies stronger as well. I can't progress to the later stages to get the blueprints for new items because you rely almost entirely on luck to not get stunned, or to avoid random bonus damage, or getting 3/4 DOTs stacked up (which is common). The game otherwise seems well designed and interesting if a bit simple, but you should avoid unless they do some serious rebalancing to how the enemies scale.EDIT: I did enjoy the game for the first 2-3 hours.
